'Wisconsin Protests move from the Capitol to the voting booth'

Hey guys!

I guess Wisconsin has realized the error of Scott Walker...
I found this article by Elizabeth Baier on MPR today.
The audio clip and the article are great, both explain the way
citizens of Wisconsin are making a grass-roots effort
to stop the new no-unionizing policy WI has adopted.

View the article and listen to the audio here:

Let's learn from the mistakes of Wisconsin.

I don't want to imagine this happening
in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

  1. i sure hope our membership is paying attention to these efforts to basically gut public sector unions because unions like ours will be the next targets. a project manager friend has been bidding highway work in kansas and missouri, where he told me, the prevailing wage is less than 10 dollars per hour, no benefits. he sends workers down from here, pays them metro scale and has a heck of time competing, it means his people have to out compete the others by 2 to 1 at least, if not more..
