-This site is managed, authored, and maintained by the proud daughter of a Union Carpenter. My name is Hannah Weber and this name & information has been readily apparent since the inception of this blog.
To illustrate why I chose to make this blog:
As I don't live under any sort of rock, I've taken stock of the situation in Wisconsin in relation to Unionization and I'm appalled.
A few months ago I realized that the state of politics in Minnesota was getting so dire that I needed to help preserve the facets of our representative democracy that I believe in.
I will not see 'my hometown, my territory, my state' disrespect a citizen's right to collectively bargain the way Wisconsin has.
I've been employed as a retail manager, administrative assistant, networking manager, and done consulting work that has given me a good handle on how to utilize computers [and all their programs & accessories] to magnify & best vocalize my position, in this case, in regard to Unions.
My father, well, he does not 'excel' at navigating the Start Menu, let alone creating html code. For this reason, I have chosen to utilize my skill-set to benefit my father and lobby for the preservation of Labor Movements, Unions, & citizen activism.
Once again, [I] Hannah Weber chose to create and publicize this blog site on behalf of my father's rights because I understand that as a young-adult I am responsible for supporting the elements of my government that I wish to maintain.
